International team seeking to unravel peanut genome (Part 2)

Scott Jackson, director of the Peanut Genome  Initiative, previously worked on the mapping of the soybean genome. Although  that project took several years, scientists have already seen a number of  benefits from the research. Jackson talked about those efforts during an  interview at the Southern Peanut Farmers Federation annual meeting in Panama  City, Fla.
