Aaron Wood, executive director of the South Carolina Soybean Board, is pleased to announce the Soybean Board’s new and improved Web site.
The site, located at www.scsoybeans.org, debuted in February and includes information about soybeans including its history and uses, recipes, biodiesel information, industry and educational links, research, news and contact information.
Wood encourages the public to log on and learn a little more about the soybean industry, which ranked sixth in cash value in the top 10 commodities in South Carolina in 2005.
The South Carolina Soybean Board is charged with deciding how to invest the funds of the soybean checkoff. These funds are used for research, promotion and education interests as they pertain to soybeans and the soybean industry.
