Pesticide Stewardship Conference set for Tucson

The 2003 annual Pesticide Stewardship Conference will be held Oct. 19-22 at the Tucson Marriott University Park in Tucson, Ariz. The theme of the conference is Stewardship Issues: Discussions for a Global Community. It will emphasize the diversity of public and private sector and non-profit organizations in stewardship issues worldwide.

The National Pesticide Stewardship Alliance invites anyone interested in giving a technical presentation on a pesticide stewardship issue to submit a title-summary form by May 15. Individuals and organizations can also arrange special sessions such as a moderated panel, round table or symposium around a specific topic.

The annual conference, which features educational sessions, technical presentations and exhibits, brings together key industry organization including the Ag Container Recycling Council, Environmental Protection Agency, CropLife America, American Association of Pesticide Safety Educators, Ag Retailers Association and the National Pest Management Association.
