Meat goat symposium set for Aug. 5

The Virginia Cooperative Extension Service will be hosting the 2006 Mid-Atlantic Meat Goat Symposium on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Randolph Farms Extension Pavilion VSU, Petersburg, Va.

The program is designed to help producers become profitable with meat goat production in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Registration and lunch are free, but a $3 donation will be accepted on the day of the symposium to help cover expenses.
