Farm Fest set in Aiken, S.C.

The 3rd Annual Aiken Farm Fest will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on March 30-31, 2007, at 151 Chime Bell Church Road, Aiken, S.C.

The Farm Fest will feature antique tractors and cars along with hay balers, threshing machines, saw mills, veneer mills, hit ‘n miss engines, corn shellers, woodcarving, and quilting demonstrations. Antique tractors, V8 and turbo tractors will participate in a Fun Pull on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by a Truck Pull. There will be plenty of good food and crafts. Exhibitors are invited to participate.

On Saturday, March 31st the same classes of tractors and trucks will begin pulling at noon. First, second, and third place trophies will be awarded on this day for this event.

Also on Saturday there will be a Kids Pedal Pull and a Ladies Frying Pan toss, trophies will also be given for these events.

On Saturday the Fest will be joined by Aiken Horsepower Association with an Open Car Show, Southern Thunder Cloggers, Savannah River Grass and Eudora Farms Exotic Petting Zoo.
