Cotton producers could be shifting planting intentions as prices change

Farmers indicated in the National Cotton Council’s annual  Early Season Planting Intentions Survey that they will plant 9 million acres  of cotton in 2013. Most of the 27-percent decline will be due to higher corn  prices. But the situation is a little more complicated than that, as the NCC’s  Gary Adams explains in this video interview.
