Carl Coleman plants cover behind corn to stop pigweed, boost next crop

Corn harvest has wrapped up for several growers (in the Southeast), leaving a number of fields empty for the remainder of the summer.  Rather than let his field sit empty, South Carolina farm Carl Coleman planted cover crops to suppress pigweed and save money on fertility.
